Stable Ag

The 32 sub-unities are made of the same four viral proteins, which differ in form and molecular weight . Assembled to each other, they give the hepatitis A virus its icosahedronic aspect. The Ag of the virus is very stable, there exists no more than one serotype and 4 genotypes, which are very similar to each other according to their antigens.
